The Lubbock Area Republican Women presents two scholarships each year. One $1000 scholarship and one $500 scholarship will be given to two selected individuals based on active membership in a college Republican organization and criteria established by the National Federation of Republican Women.  The scholarship will be forwarded to the Office of Financial Aid at the applicable university for the upcoming semester.

Undergraduate applicants must be a full-time student (minimum of 12 hours) enrolled in a four-year college or university in the Lubbock area.  A graduate student must be enrolled for a minimum of 6 semester hours. Applicants must maintain a 3.0 grade point average (based on a 4.0 scale).

Applicants must submit the completed application below along with the following:

• Official transcript from the institution where you are currently enrolled

• A letter or statement in support of your application from one of your professors

• A letter from an active Lubbock area Republican who can attest to your Republican involvement

• Resumé

The above application materials should be post-marked by December 20, and mailed to:  Lubbock Area Republican Women, Attention Scholarship Committee, P.O. Box 6315, Lubbock, Texas  79493.  The award presentation will be at the January LARW meeting.
